Milled Sorghum bran was added to milled sorghum endosperm and extruded to produce expanded snacks. The sorghum bran was also bioprocessed. In brief, the addition of bran reduced the expansion of the snack. However, the addition of the bioprocessed bran increased the expansion ratio similar to that of extruded sorghum endosperm. The ready-to-eat expanded snack with added bioprocessed bran has some extra health benefits as it is considered as high fibre expanded snack.
